JXBatch allows users to upload a file to query against JusticeXchange, the national near real-time offender database. Over 1,900 jail facilities in 32 states and 17 Departments of Correction are contributing data, including more than 65 million booking records and 12 million booking photos. After a file is uploaded, query results will include an individual's incarceration status and all known booking history, including the last known home address and phone number given at the time of incarceration.
In addition, JXBatch can also be used to load large lists of names for watch purposes. This is a helpful tool to monitor sex offender, probationers/parolees, and more. If any of those names end up getting incarcerated in JusticeXchange, the user is automatically notified via email.
